Coming Soon - Fall 2028 Own a share of a live steer, or join the interest list
How it works: You buy an ownership interest in a specific live steer, identified by ear tag/ID assigned before harvest. A Quarter is 25%, a Half is 50% and a Whole is 100% ownership, and your share entitles you to that same percentage of all products from the animal. 100% of each steer is assigned to owners before harvest, and a bill of sale for the identified steer is completed before slaughter. The animal is processed under the custom-exempt rules (Texas Health & Safety Code §433.0065; 25 TAC §221.14(d)).
As owner, you authorize Stow Ranch, as your agent, to board your animal until harvest. Stow Ranch will deliver it to a named custom-exempt processor (Clay County Meat Processing or Windthorst Custom Meat to be confirmed) and arrange delivery of your meat to you. Processing fees are paid by the owner directly to the processor.

Estimated take-home weights are estimates only. Plan on freezer space of about about 4–5 cu ft per quarter, 8–10 per half. Meat is delivered by Stow Ranch or picked up at the processor.
